Our 2006 Reception at the ETS Chauncey Center

On November 15, Hands On Helpers held a reception at the ETS Chauncey Conference Center for our volunteer agencies, staff, board members and supporters.  The event was wonderfully attended, the food was outstanding and the discussions among the attendees were lively.  We're very grateful to all of our contributors who were able to join us to celebrate volunteerism and for their ongoing support of our mission.

Some pictures of the attendees will give you a good idea of how much everyone enjoyed themselves.

Gil Gordon, Hands On Helpers Chair, provided a short summary of where Hands On Helpers is today and its future.

Lucy Boyd of the Mercer County Geriatric Center, won the door prize of a bottle of champagne.  Perfect for the evening's theme of "Celebrating Volunteerism".

Listening to Gil are Mary Ann Isaac of Interfaith Caregivers Trenton/Faith in Action, Linda Weber of Hands On Helpers, and Barbara Reiff.  At the far right, Bart Hoebel of the Delaware River Steamboat Floating Classroom.

Joanne Fishbane, Richard Fishbane, Adele Agin and Alex Magoun of the David Sarnoff Library.

Linda Meisel of Jewish Fanily & Children Services, Mary Ann Isaac, and Linda Weber.

Celia Ryan and Berit Smith, a former Hands On Helpers Board member.

Nancy Robins, one of the founding mothers of Hands On Helpers, Beth Carey of Habitat for Humanity-Trenton Area, and Lucy Boyd.
